Prepping a Honiton Home for Full Solar

Client wanted to get into solar PV and battery storage to cut their bills and use more of their own power. They were looking for a reliable, smart system.

We recommended a two-phase approach for this one. First, get the core brain and storage in. Then, the panels. This made sense for the client's timeline and let us get the crucial components in place.

Phase 1:

Our team got on site and installed the SolarEdge Home Battery and the hybrid inverter. This involved wiring it into the client's main distribution board, making sure everything was compliant and ready. Clean install, everything signed off. The battery is now fully functional, ready to start storing energy – initially from the grid for testing, and soon from the new solar panels.

Phase 2:

We returned shortly after the first phase to install the solar panels. Once they're up and connected, the whole SolarEdge system will be fully operational: generating power, charging the battery, and optimising self-consumption.
